I'm NOT complaining. I'm NOT "And There You Go"

Overwhelmed, Oh Heck, Use Norske accent here:
"yah!"

I look at my hand and I think, "It could be worse!" Now, I have a broken finger and a really ugly cut finger that hasn't stopped bleeding. I'll count my blessings that the canned, soft, dog food was washed-away with all the blood. And... another thing, it hurts right now, so my broken finger doesn't hurt anymore. Yay! Danger Ranch strikes again!

We had a big dog fight over yummy dog food, as if I never feed those chubby dogs. The cans rolls around and with my broken finger and I guess the little one got in the way and "there you go". I don't know what happened.

This has to be a teaching moment. What can I learn from this? Well, I'm overwhelmed with writing-out announcements so...I'm thinking and thinking, and thinking. I am using the computer with labels. "And there you go".

Wedding. "Our Big Fat Mormon Wedding!" I do love it. I have forgotten how to manage all of this. It's been more than 10 years since our last daughter's wedding at the L.A. Temple, plus it was all in California. It didn't involve three communities, plus.

I am glad I have a lot to do and that I'm healthy, and I can see everything, and be involved no matter how it stretches me. All I can think of when that happens is, that I grow from whatever comes my way. Our family's testimony of tithing...Wow, I can't even put into words. Heavenly Father is blessing us because my kid is doing all that is right. We were prompted to send her to her school at the right time and she knew from the very moment she put her foot on the ground she was home and she told us that it's hard to let-go because she's my baby. Kiely's ideas on the reception are a bit vague. She is in" love-land" and her mind is completely consumed with "Mr. Incredible" I have to keep thinking it is the Temple Marriage and it's Eternal and nothing else is really important. The reception is two hours there and two hours here a week later. I wish I could just hug her for everything that she's accomplished to get where she is right now. Only the mother knows all the long hours of huge homework and service projects, community involvement...Kiely, you are beyond amazing, because it was so hard, but wasn't it all worth it? Just a touch of Heaven on Earth and stronger than ever testimony.

I do know a bunch of random stuff like the full history of China. Thanks to Mr. Stacy in 7th grade. I read the whole history book and studied with Kiely every single paragraph. We worked hard, huh, girl?

A dear friend told me that she had done wedding photography for quite a few years and she remembers one comment made by a groom that was in another wedding party talking to his new bride. The circumstances were, that after planning and preparing for the day in the Spring, it rained. The cute bride was about in tears as she came out of the Temple thinking photo's were going to be ruined and the reception was going to flop. The groom turned to her and said, "It's okay Sweetie, this just puts all the more emphasis on the Temple anyway." How neat is that! What a wonderful way to start a marriage.

I want to dance at her wedding, but not like dance, dance...you know "Dance Like Nobody's Watching" I just want to dance, full of joy and respectfully. Then I'll come home and turn-up my Droid and rock-out. We do live in a rural area and the loud music would just be heard by livestock and my few neighbors that are closely related. I might even invite them to dance with me. I hope I do disturb the livestock!

Remember the Greek father in the movie " My Big Fat Greek Wedding?" He thought ever word that we have in the English language was from The Greek language? I grant you, there's tons of words in our language that are from Greek roots, however we are a mixture of many.

I placed a few words on my blog to remember that are Nordic origin. Our language is full of Nordic words, I kid-you-not! I don't even remember all that I saw, but I copied a few and then more and more -- I had to quit. It was a fun and eye-opening experience.
