My Truth and Testimony

Luke 15:

5-6

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

-“He leaves the 99 to come find me?”

I’ve looked for this Scripture for so long and my daughter in the Midwest found it. It carries a wonderful picture of a lamb lost and scared to what lies ahead.

He knows us, each one.

Hear Him
There is a meaningful scripture in the book of Ether: “… dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.” (Ether 12:6.)

I know Jesus is the Christ and our Savior and through Him our sins are removed as we work hard to change for good. His light testifies that this is truly the restored Church on earth today! There was a great restoration of the original church though our dear prophet Joseph Smith.

Joseph Smith truly translated the Book of Mormon and received revelation. I know we have a prophet today and apostles like the early church. I appreciate their leadership and our own local leaders.

I pray to Heavenly Father for gratefulness for all that we have, especially our family. I try to strengthen my testimony every day and pray for forgiveness & increased happiness. I know my weakness is not to make me mentally weak but to humble me and I thank God for my personal spiritual witness of the Gospel. I write down the good things in my life each day.

I pray for our brothers and sisters that carry burdens in any way. I desperately want to come back to our dear ward here in Fillmore but it’s difficult for me to get in here and stand-up.

I have a testimony that I know Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost.  The Holy Ghost is real, and my testimony of the Savior isn't much of one without that divine companionship of the Holy Ghost. I do hear him. I know his voice. Whenever I feel prompted; even without the voice…and if it’s good- I try & do it.

I have had scary obstacles that makes me struggle more than I thought would. The more tears I have, the more determined I am to try harder.

I love to listen to talks and devotionals – it is my chance to learn and grow. I subscribe to the Come Follow Me program and receive notifications every morning at 8:00 am and study the lessons. I am thankful for our Gospel Doctrine lessons & newsletters.

I have enjoyed studying the Old Testament and look forward to the New Testament study. I look forward to a better understanding.

Lastly, I miss the temple. I’m very blessed to do family history and find ancestors quickly and able to find lost ancestors. I always fill my personal quota of individuals and send cards to my family, and many go straight to the temple. So much has been changed at the Temple to help disabled brothers and sisters.

I’m not letting my health halt my work for those needing to start their blessings of the Temple and receiving Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
